Calling All Future Educators
|
Project CAFE is a wonderful way to foster potential future language teachers. As a district supervisor, I am well aware of the shortage of qualified foreign language teachers. With the increased focus on foreign languages in our schools, it will become more and more difficult to fill positions for language teachers. We must find ways to encourage our students to pursue careers as language educators. Project CAFE is a great program that fosters students' interests and abilities, and promotes careers in foreign language teaching.
